IN a bid to spread a bit of festive cheer, people are being encouraged to follow a Christmas trail of brightly decorated houses through Kidlington.
More than 50 houses will be dressed in lights for the Christmas Lights Trail starting on Saturday. People can walk or drive around spotting the decorations and finding hidden characters.

A map of participating houses is available for a donation of £1 and all funds raised will go to North Kidlington School. The Crafters Emporium and Morgan Optometry are two of the six local businesses sponsoring the event and maps can be bought here too.
Helen Clarke, an organiser, said: "I felt that for many of us 2020 has been a hard year and knew Christmas would be different so decided to try and get the community together to light up Kidlington and make Christmas a time to 'safely' remind ourselves of what is important."
