An Oxfordshire hamlet aims to raise thousands for the homeless with its Christmas light switch on.
The small hamlet of Besselsleigh near Cumnor raises around £1500 a year by turning on their Christmas lights and this year they are doing it a week early at 6.30pm on Saturday December 5.

The money raised will go to the nominated charity Oxfordshire Homeless.
Donations can be made in cash via the donation box in the middle of the hamlet or via a card machine in the window of the Greyhound pub on the A420.
