OXFORDSHIRE will be put into Tier 2 on December 2, when national lockdown ends.

Oxford Mail:

In Tier 2 areas: 

  • No mixing of households indoors (apart from support bubbles) and a maximum of six people outdoors 
  • Pubs and bars must close, unless they are operating as restaurants and hospitality venues can only serve alcohol with substantial meals. 
  • There will be a curfew of 10pm for last orders and venues must close by 11pm. 
  • Retail can stay open 
  • Everyone who can work from home should
  • Personal care (like hairdressers and nail salons) can open 
  • Hotels will stay open 
  • Gyms will stay open
  • Schools will stay open
  • Overnight stays are allowed with your household or support bubbles 
  • Weddings and civil partnerships will be allowed with 15 people only and funerals with 30 people 
  • Entertrainment venues can open
  • Places of worship will open but people cannot interact with anyone outside of their homes 
  • Large events will take place with venues limited to a 50% capacity or 2,000 people (whichever is lower)
