A WOMAN who stole hundreds of pounds worth of alcohol from the same Oxford city supermarket has been jailed.
Treasure Muhwezi admitted six counts of theft from a shop.
On each occasion the 30-year-old of no fixed abode stole alcohol at the Tesco store, Cowley Road, Oxford.
All of the shoplifting offences took place between July 10 and September 29 this year.
In a single day on July 26 she stole a total of £129 worth of alcohol belonging to Tesco.
The total value of the stolen booze was £311.10.
According to court documents Muhwezi admitted the string of offences at Oxford Magistrates' Court on October 10.
She was jailed for a total of four weeks and it was said that Muhwezi 'has a flagrant disregard for court orders.'
The offence was also aggravated by her 'record of previous offending.'
As well as the jail term she was also ordered to pay compensation totalling £150.
That money was ordered to be paid by January 29 next year.
No court costs or victim surcharge was imposed.
