PEOPLE are being urged to get into the festive spirit and take part in a synchronised Christmas lights switch-on.
Witney Town Council’s ‘Doorstep Christmas Switch-on Challenge’ will take place this Friday at 6pm.

The council is hoping residents will light up their homes, businesses and shops, switching on at the same time.
Pictures of the festivities can be shared on social media, using the hashtag #Witneymagic.
