Millions of public sector workers could have their pay frozen next year following the Comprehensive Spending Review and MP Layla Moran called it "insulting".
She said: “Freezing the pay of millions of public sector workers during this crisis is utterly wrong. So many are on the front line and deserve our support and gratitude. And for all those already working in the public sector on low pay struggling to meet their bills, this is insulting.

"The Government is punishing the very people we’re relying on to get our children, our families and our communities through the pandemic.
“The Chancellor must urgently rethink this decision and think about the impact of his decisions on public sector workers’ lives, and therefore on us all.”
