A THIEF has been jailed after stealing £221 of perfume from Debenhams.

Patrick Keenan, of no fixed abode, stole the items from the store in Castle Quay Shopping Centre, Banbury, on September 27.

It came after the 36-year-old snatched six cans of Jack Daniels from a Nisa supermarket in Oxford on August 11.

Keenan pleaded guilty to both counts and was sentenced to four months in prison for stealing the perfume and one month for taking the alcohol, to run concurrently.

He must also pay a victim surcharge of £128 and court costs of £85.
