A HARLEY Street doctor is set to be appointed as a governor at an Oxfordshire school.

Public health advisor Dr Charlie Easmon is due to take up the role at Cokethorpe School, near Witney.

Dr Easmon, who has more than 30 years of experience in the medical world, said: “In the last few months, schools and universities have seen many challenges but it is vital that universal education for all is a global priority.

“During this challenging time, we are seeing the resilience of school children and the education system in this country.”
