A crash on the A34 last night between two cars caused long delays.
There was queuing traffic northbound from Kidlington to Junction 9 for the M40 due to the collision, which happened just before 5pm.
Traffic was down to one lane while emergency services and Highways England attended.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, posting a picture of a damaged car, said: "Fortunately the occupants of both cars were able to walk away showing the importance of wearing seatbelts.
"Crews from Kidlington and Bicester attended to make the scene safe and support colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service, Highways England and Thames Valley Police. "
