Coronavirus cases have gone up by more than 150 in a day across the county as the number of patients with the virus in hospital at the John Radcliffe's trust is increasing.
According to Public Health England, as of 9am Friday, these are the number of new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours;
- Oxford - 34
- Oxfordshire - 157
- UK - 23,287
The total coronavirus cases since the pandemic started;
- Oxford - 2,340
- Oxfordshire - 7,762
- UK - 1,146,484
Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
Public Health England has confirmed this week, however, 'a number of' Oxford University's own testing results have only been added to the national total not local figures.
A further 355 people were reported to have died within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test.
It takes the confirmed UK death toll to 48,475.
There have been 2,246 deaths in the last seven days, which is up 588 (35.5 per cent) compared with the same time a week ago.

Separate NHS England figures released on Thursday show there were 29 patients with Covid at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the John Radcliffe, as of 8am on Tuesday.
This is up from 25 at the same time last week and 16 the week before that.
Two patients were in serious enough condition to be on ventilation.
