TIME is running out to have your say on plans to increase the number of disabled parking spaces across the city.
Oxfordshire County Council wants to provide additional disabled persons parking places at numerous locations across Oxford and one in the Vale of White Horse.
The council said that the proposals were being put forward as a result of 'increased local demand.'
In its proposals the council also wants to remove a number of existing spaces which is says are 'no longer required' and also relocate others.
Areas which are earmarked for new spaces in Oxford include Valentia Road, West Street and Radcliffe Road.
In Abingdon the single space identified is at Boxhill Walk.
As part of the plans the council launched a public consultation, seeking your views, on October 8.
That consultation is now set to close and views will be taken until Friday November 6.
Objections to the proposals and other representations, specifying the grounds on which they are made, may be sent in by completing an online questionnaire, via email or in writing.
To take part in the consultation visit the county council website on consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk
