The South Oxfordshire town of Wallingford has been ranked fifth in the top 10 countryside destinations to relocate.
Over 70 popular rural towns and villages in England and Wales were ranked by the Compare My Move website, based on factors such as average house price, median salary, hours of sunlight, rainfall, download speed and number of restaurants.

Wallingford won is rank for its 42 restaurants, an average house price of £543,045 and a median salary of £32,715.
Dorchester-on-Thames in Oxfordshire ranked even higher at fourth place with Guildford in Surrey taking number one.
