A FLOOD alert has been issued near Bicester due to heavy rainfall today.
Flooding of low lying roads and farmland is expected, especially in the Lower Arncott area, due to river levels rising in the River Ray.
Further light rain showers are forecast today and tomorrow and river levels are expected to remain high for at least the next two days.

The flood information service says it is monitoring the situation closely and advises people to avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses.
Property flooding is not expected.
