POLICE are reminding motorists to check their insurance is in date and valid.
Even if the vehicle itself is insured, if you are not correctly insured to drive it you could get penalised.

If caught driving a vehicle you are not insured to drive, you could face a £300 fine and six penalty points on your driving licence.
