FURTHER specialist forensic tests will be carried out on the body of a woman in her 60s who was found dead in National Trust woodland.

A post-mortem conducted yesterday did not establish the cause of death.

Thames Valley Police is continuing its murder investigation following the incident in Watlington Hill area at around 5.53pm on Friday.

Formal identification of the victim is still to be carried out but her next of kin have been informed and they continue to be supported by specially trained officers.

A 23-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
