THE grieving parents of a 'wonderful' and 'artistic' woman who was killed in a horror crash on the A40 paid a heartbreaking tribute to their family.

Blogger Zoe Powell, 29, died at the scene along with her three children – Phoebe, aged eight, Simeon, aged six and four-year-old Amelia – when their silver Subaru people carrier was involved in a collision near Oxford.

In a tribute released by Thames Valley Police today, her parents described her as a devoted Christian and added: "While we are deeply grieving for her life on earth cut short, we do have hope.

"Zoe Rose Powell was a much loved member of our family, daughter, sister and more.

"She did so much in her short life, became a Christian and married her husband Josh at 18.

"While earning a 2:1 at Sheffield University she also had Phoebe and Simeon."

Mrs Powell, who lived in Chinnor with her family, was an artist and a writer who blogged about the joys of parenting.

Speaking about her work and character, her parents said: "While being a wonderful mother, she carried on her writing and artistic ways, in painting, blogging and running a craft business, always beautifying the world around her.

Oxford Mail:

"As well as this she was always fully committed to her local church.

"We had the joy of weekly visits to see Zoe and the children, collecting them from St Andrew’s school, visiting the coffee/bookshop and park.

"The loss of Zoe, Phoebe, Simeon and Amelia has left a huge hole in our life.

"They were all so full of life and fun.

"We will deeply miss seeing them grow and develop.

"We are praying for the full recovery of Josh and little Penelope."

Mrs Powell's husband Josh, 30, and her 18-month-old daughter Penny were taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in critical condition after the incident on Tuesday.

Since then, their condition has improved and they are expected to recover.
