A DETERMINED fundraiser is putting his ‘breast’ foot forward by running 10 marathons in 10 days in 10 counties dressed as a giant breast.
Carl Orme a 38-year-old army veteran from Wiltshire will be running through Oxford dressed as a giant breast for Breast Cancer Now with Sally Orange, a fellow army veteran.
The charity is a cause close to Mr Orme’s heart. He said that in addition to his aunt and grandmother having cancer, his mother has had it on two occasions and chemotherapy had left her disabled.

The pair will be pounding the streets daily from October 14 and 32 to help raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Now.
Mr Orme said: “I had great plans this year to do 20 organised Marathons and a series of fundraising events. Covid-19 has had such a devastating effect on our whole lives, that despite my events being cancelled, I still wanted to do my very best to make a difference.”
The running fundraisers will be in Oxford on October 21.
