A SCARECROW Zoom meeting, a ‘Reluctant DIY Man’ and a straw-filled baker, were some of the lockdown-themed entries for a scarecrow trail.
Chinnor’s first-ever fundraising scarecrow trail was themed ‘activities in lockdown'.
School children, care home residents and villagers all got creative with their scarecrows and raised more than £900 for international aid and development charity Christian Aid.

The lockdown themed scarecrows were displayed in the village over the weekend despite the bad weather.
The trail was organised by Chinnor’s Christian Aid Group which wanted to think of an innovative and socially distanced way to bring the local community together to help support global neighbours living in poverty during the pandemic.
