Restaurant owner Peter Galpin said: “For the first time in 22 years we will be operating a booking system for tables in what has now become a greatly reduced seating area.

“Initially we will offer just five lunches a week [Wednesday - Sunday] and two dinners a week [Friday and Saturday].

“We hope to bring back our Thursday ‘sushi nights’ at some time in the future.”
