A WOMAN who stole more than £700 from a charity she worked for has been given a conditional discharge.

Carole Bishop, of Ashdown Way, Grove, admitted theft by employee after stealing £461.50 from the British Heart Foundation in Wantage on December 17, 2019.

She also admitted stealing £252 from the charity two days later.

At Oxford Magistrates Court on August 19, the 41-year-old was made to pay back £713.50 in compensation and was also given a conditional discharge for six months.

The order means she will not be sentenced for the crime unless she breaks the law again the next six months.
