The town of Calne turned out to pay their respects to the second of four young friends who died in a car crash in Derry Hill last month.
Corey Owen's family arranged for the funeral cortege to drive through Calne to allow people to pay their respects this morning.
Tearful mourners, including friends of the young men, lined the street as the funeral cortege travelled along Oxford Rd towards Tesco where Corey worked, then continued down the bypass into School Rd, and through town onto the A4.
A celebration of Corey’s life will take place after the service, but this is by invitation only to ensure it can be held safely at a Covid-secure venue.
The town will see four funerals over the coming weeks. Ryan Nelson was sent off in similar style on Friday, when hundreds of people gathered at Tesco to bid farewell.
