OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

Julian GUNNETT, 44, of Wilsdon Way, Kidlington, was convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a fare of £5.20 at Oxford on January 10 and £2.60 on January 13. For each offence he must pay a fine of £220 and court costs of £160 as well a single victim surcharge of £32 and compensation of £2.60 and £5.20.

MOONEY J J, 37, of Duns Tew, Bicester, was convicted of attempting to travel on a railway without having paid a fare of £6.40 at Tackley on February 4. He was fined £220 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32, court costs of £160 and compensation of £6.40.

DARIUS ANDREW JONES, 19, of Leach Road, Bicester, was convicted of travelling on a railway without having paid a fare of £8.60 at Oxford on March 19. He was fined £220 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32, court costs of £160 and compensation of £8.60.

Blerim KERKUTI, 46, of Balfour Road, Oxford, admitted being the driver of a vehicle and plying for hire when the carriage was not licensed as a public hackney carriage on September 27 in Oxford as well as using a vehicle without proper insurance. He was fined a total of £368 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £150 and his driving licence was endorsed with eight penalty points.

JONATHAN JORDAN MOONEY, 37, of Duns Tew, Bicester, was convicted of attempting to travel on the railway at Tackley without having paid a fare of £6.40 on January 20. He was fined £220 and must pay compensation of £6.40 and court costs of £160.

Imre NAGY, 36, of The Oval, Oxford, was convicted of attempting to travel on the railway at Oxford without having paid a fare of £34.70 on January 7. He was fined £220 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32, compensation of £34.70 and court costs of £160.

BEN WEBBER, 39, of Valentia Close, Bletchingdon, was convicted of attempting to travel on the railway without having paid a fare of £5.20 at Oxford on March 4. He was fined £220 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32, court costs of £160 and compensation of £5.20.

WILLIAM NASH, 58, of Ley Mary Farm, Burford, was convicted of speeding by driving 81mph in a 70mph zone on the M40 at Wooburn Green Lane junction on January 26. He was fined £220 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

SIHAN REN, 37, of Chester Road, Bicester, was convicted of speeding by driving 81mph in a 70mph zone on the M40 at Wooburn Green Lane junction on January 21. She was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

BEN ROWLAND, 22, of Stockey End, Abingdon, was convicted of speeding by driving 58mph in a 50mph zone on January 25 on the A34 Wytham. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

JUSTIN TARRANT, 49, of Rothwells Close, Cholsey, was convicted of speeding by driving 49mph in a 30mph zone on Ducklington Lane, Witney, on January 23. He was fined £353 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

ASHLEY BEN THOMAS , 31, of Ruskin Close, Didcot, admitted driving at 36mph in a 30mph zone on the B4493 on Wantage Road, Didcot on January 23. He was fined £107, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

DANIEL WINTER, 28, of High Street, Thame, admitted driving at 38mph in a 30mph zone on the A4165, Banbury Road, on January 22. He was fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

JAKE SMITH, 30, of Rose Hill, Oxford, was convicted of assault by beating a woman on Barns Road on June 28. He was fined £50, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and £100 in court costs.

CHLOE EDMONDS, 29, of no fixed abode, admitted attempted theft of a bicycle on Castle Street, Oxford on August 21. She was made subject to a community order and must have treatment for her drug dependency under the direction of Turning Point as a non-resident for 12 months. She was also made to pay compensation of £8 and a victim surcharge of £95.

JASON RICHARD LAPPER, 47, of no fixed abode, admitted assault by beating of a man on Bicester Road on August 22. He was made subject to a community order and must have treatment for his drug dependency under the direction of Turning Point for 12 months. He has also been made subject of a restraining order until February 23, 2021. He will also pay a victim surcharge of £95 and £85 in court costs.

MICHAEL ROBERTS, 40, of Temple Road, Oxford, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order made by Oxford Magistrates Court on October 31, 2019 by going to Starbucks on Cornmarket Street on August 21. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

SLAWONIR MOSSAKOWSKI, 47, of Ferriston, Banbury, admitted drink-driving on Ermont Way, Banbury, on May 3. He had 104mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £95 and £85 in court costs. He was also disqualified from driving for 26 months.

ANDREW JAMES SILVER, 37, of Queens Road, Carterton, admitted stealing alcohol, costing £119.39, from Bellingers Garage in Wantage on January 22 and stealing £44.24 worth of alcohol from Bellingers Garage on March 25. He also admitted drink-driving on the A40 on April 10 after he was caught with 52mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg as well as driving without an insurance and without a licence. He was fined £160, ordered to pay compensation of £119.39. He was also disqualified from driving for 14 months.

AARON JOINES, 33 of Oxford Road, Banbury, was convicted of criminal damage to a property after destroying a car tyre, costing £40, in Banbury on February 29. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £52 in compensation.

LEE BAYLISS, 43, of Kimmeridge Road, Oxford, admitted criminal damage to a property on August 24. He damaged a front door and frame belonging to a woman with intention to destroy or be reckless. He was fined £60, ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £34 and £50 in court costs.
