OXFORD's Green Lord Mayor has cut the ribbon at the reopening of a vegetarian cafe.
Lord Mayor Craig Simmons reopened Magic Cafe on Magdalen Road, Cowley on Saturday, September 12.
After cutting the ribbon while wearing a purple facemask, Mr Simmons described the cafe as ‘a long-standing independent business that has been feeding East Oxford’s mind, body and soul with vegetarian food for decades’.

Owners Jahan Rahman and Deki Dakar said they were 'thrilled to welcome back the Magic Cafe family and community' in a statement.
Mr Simmons started to attend face-to-face mayoral events again in August as lockdown eased, with the first being a ceremony to remember the 75th anniversary since the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
