OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT

JONATHAN ALAN GRIFFIN, 29, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing perfume valued at £260 and £134 from Boots, Oxford, on February 4 and 5. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay compensation of £394.

DANIEL DUNSMORE BOURNE, 27, of Wynton Close, Harwell, admitted drink driving on May 22 in Abingdon as well as driving while disqualified and using a vehicle without third party insurance. Had 72mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Also admitted possession of a quantity of cocaine. He was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months and he must complete an alcohol treatment requirement for six months and rehabilitation activity requirement for five days. He must also pay a fine of £120, a victim surcharge of £120, and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for four years.

MATTHEW WOOD, 53, of Ashmole Place, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harssment, alarm or distress on July 7 in Oxford. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay court costs of £40.

MICHAEL MURPHY, 68, of Windmill Lane, Wheatley, admitted drink driving on March 5 in Wheatley. Had 116mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £1,600 and must pay a victim surcharge of £160 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving or 27 months.

DYLAN O’BRIEN, 19, of Lambton Close, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man in Oxford on March 7 as well as possessing an offensive weapon - a belt. He was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and he must pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85.

SIMON JAMES WHITE, 41, of Cecil Sharp Place, Headington, admitted stealing perfume and electronic items valued at £243 from Sainsbury’s, Kidlington, on February 10 and committing an offence while subject to a suspended sentence order. His suspended sentence order was varied and is now a jail term of 40 weeks, suspended for 24 months and be subject to drug rehabilitation requirement for 20 months. He must also pay compensation totalling £20.

DELROY PATRICK JOHNS, 45, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted stealing baby clothes valued at £113.99 from Asda, Oxford, on February 11, gift sets valued at £95 from Boots, Oxford, on February 7 and alcohol valued at £110.50 from Sainsbury’s, Oxford, on January 28. Also admitted possession of a quantity of heroin and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He was made subject to a community order to include drug rehabilitation requirement for 12 months and rehabilitation activity requirement for 25 days. He must also pay compensation totalling £170.

KERRY ELLEN ROSE LOFTHOUSE, 27, of Botley Road, Oxford, admitted possession of a quantity of heroin on May 20 in Oxford. She was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

PETER DANIEL BOWERS, 37, of no fixed abode, admitted causing criminal damage to miscellaneous property in Sutton Courtenay on August 9 and committing an offence while subject to a suspended sentence order. He was fined £50 and must pay compensation of £150 and a victim surcharge of £34, and the suspended sentence order period was extended from 18 to 24 months.

ANDREW CLARIDGE, 30, of Charterville Close, Minster Lovell, admitted common assault of a police officer on August 9 and obstructing a police officer in the execution of their duty. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay compensation of £120.

JAMIE RICHARD HOGAN, 43, of Wordsworth Road, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving on Drayton Road, Abingdon, on March 25. He had 46mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and £85 in court costs. He was also disqualified from getting a driving licence for 36 months.

GEORGE ARTHUR BAKER, 20, of Hilliat Fields, Abingdon, admitted using threatening and abusive words with intent to cause fear on January 25 in Oxford. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £85 in court costs.

IAN ALLISON, 38, of Newland Road, Banbury, admitted driving at 61mph in a 50mph zone on Woodstock Road on January 7. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

PAUL CHELARU, 25, of Stratford Way, Bicester, admitted driving at 98mph in a 70mph zone on the M40 on June 24. He was fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with four penalty points.

JUDITH LINDSEY CONNOR, 73, of Church Lane, Oxford, admitted driving without a licence on Abingdon Road on June 2 because it had expired. She was fined £40, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £40.

JAMES DUFFY, 35, of Windrush Close, Witney, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on Starham Road, Witney on March 8. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

MARTIN HARWOOD, also known as Martin Farmer, 44, of London Road, Moreton in Marsh, was convicted of failing to give information about the identity of a driver who was allegedly guilty of a driving offence on June 8 in Kidlington. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

SHANA HASNAT, 36, of Iffley Road, Oxford, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on March 13 in Oxford. She was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Her riving licence was also endorsed with six points.

ABDUL KHAIBAKH, 51, of Seven Sisters Way, Cumnor, admitted driving without a licence and without third party insurance on June 30 on Becket Street. He was fined £660 in total, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

GEORGIE OLIVER, 20, of Hollybush Road, Carterton, was convicted of driving without third party insurance on Foxburrow Lane, Crawley, on March 12. She was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court cots of £85. Her driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
