A MAN has been sent to prison after breaching a civil injunction which prohibited him from communicating with, threatening, or intimidating a named person.
Robert Smialek, 39, of Cowley Road, Oxford, was sentenced to 28 days’ imprisonment at Oxford Crown Court on Monday.
On May 4, June 2 and June 11 this year, he breached the civil injunction, communicated with the named person and went to Kidlington when he was prohibited from doing so.

Investigating officer PC Matthew Longman, based at Bicester Police Station, said: “We are pleased with the court’s decision to sentence Smailek which shows that they take seriously any breaches of these orders.
“Further, Thames Valley Police will utilise the powers available to them to protect vulnerable individuals from being exposed to possible harm.”
