A 13-YEAR-OLD girl was punched in the face multiple times and left with a black eye and bloodied nose in a brutal robbery.

On Thursday, August 20, the teenage girl was at the Oatlands Road Recreation Ground when she was approached by a group of teenagers at around 5pm.

The yobs took her yellow and black Boardman road sport bike, which has yellow tires, before one of the boys started punching her in the face.

She didn't need to go to hospital. 

Police have given the descriptions of four of the teenagers, who are described as: 

  • A white 15-year-old girl, around 5ft 6ins tall, with long straight black hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a black group top and black shorts. 
  • A white boy, around 6ft tall and approximately 16-years-old. He is a larger build has short sandy-coloured hair that is pushed back from his face. He was wearing a T-shirt and grey shorts and was carrying a black bag. 
  • A white boy, around 6ft tall and approximately 16-years-old. He is a larger build, has black hair that is long on top and short on the sides. At the time he was wearing a black T-Shirt and black shorts. 
  • A fourth boy who is around 5ft 8ins tall and approximately 15-years-old. He is slim, has spiky blonde hair and was wearing a T-Shirt and black football shorts.  

Investigating officer PC Benjamin Shillam, based at Wantage police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to get in touch.
