The Wallingford Historical and Archaeological Society believes a grade II listed building has 'significant archaeological potential'.
A planning application for renovations to the grade II listed building in Wallingford on Kinecroft is in the consultation period. The homeowners would like to plaster the ceiling, replace the rotted carpet, demolish an internal wall and also add double glazing.

However, the archaeological society would like an 'excavation of the proposed soakaway' before renovations start as the property is in the 'region of significant archaeological potential'.
