Mr Robertshaw said: “I’ve always tried to support the military and in my spare time I write the books.

“I usually attend lots of military event s but because of coronavirus, I can’t do that so I’ve been selling them myself.”

Since 2014, he has written 10 books, raising £7,000.

Proceeds from his latest book, RAF Airfields, will be donated to the RAF Benevolent Fund.
