A MAN who followed a student back to her house before ringing the doorbell relentlessly and trying to force his way inside was found 'with a piece of paper checking off addresses'.

Police said officers were called to Bullingdon Road in Oxford at around 4.20am on Sunday morning.

On arrival, a 34-year-old man from Oxford was arrested on suspicion of knowingly/recklessly trespassing on a premises with intent to commit a sexual offence.

He has been released on police bail.
