AN Oxford rock band will be performing at a live-streamed ‘up-close-and-personal’ charity show in the city this month.
Supergrass will perform from The Bullingdon on August 21 in collaboration with Chicago-based brewery Goose Island, which is launching a new beer.
The show aims to give people a unique perspective of the band’s festival headline set as it will be filmed in 360° and Virtual Reality (VR) direct to your home.
Goose Island’s new beer, a double India pale ale (IPA), is called ‘Mansize Brew Sir?’, named after Supergrass’ track ‘Mansize Rooster’.

It was created by Goose Island’s master brewer Andrew Walton at the brand’s flagship venue, The Brewpub in Shoreditch, London.
The beverage has a tropical fruit character with notes of passionfruit, peach and citrus.
To watch the show, you must pay a charity donation of £2. You will receive a single-use code to join the concert at home online and be automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a range of Goose Island goods.

All ticket proceeds will be split equally between music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Charity and suicide prevention charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) - the band's chosen charity.
