ROADWORKS aimed at improving Abingdon Road for cyclists begin tomorrow night.
Oxfordshire County Council will be upgrading the busy city route from the Old Abingdon Road junction to Folly Bridge between 7pm and 5.30am.
Cycle lanes and symbols will be installed on both sides of the road where possible.

The work also consists of removing most of the exiting markings and re-marking the route, plus a small section of resurfacing to widen the cycle approach and extend the advanced cycle stop line at Weir's Lane.
The road will be closed overnight between Weir's Lane and Folly Bridge, with a diversion via the High Street and Iffley Road in place, and work is set to end on August 12.
The improvements are part of a wider county council project to boost active travel in Oxford, with measures to widen the cycle lane on Magdalen Bridge set to finish tonight.
