A STARTLED burglar threw a glass and fled after being caught in the act.
At approximately 10.10pm on Wednesday, a resident in Saxton Road, Abingdon, came downstairs to find a man in their kitchen.
The thief, who was wearing a ski mask, threw a glass at the victim and then ran off through the back garden onto Gainsborough Green.

No one was injured but jewellery was stolen.
The offender is described as a slim white man who is approximately 6ft tall.
He was wearing a dark hooded top, dark grey tracksuit bottoms and black gloves.
