Couples dance the tango for an anniversary event in September 2002
IT was a boom year for the tango as couples celebrated the dance club's anniversary at Oxford's New College in September 2002.
The event marked the first anniversary of the amalgamation of the Oxford Tango Group and Oxford University Dance Club.

Tango is a partner dance that originated in the 1880s along the Río de la Plata, the natural border between Argentina and Uruguay.
