Reflection was this week’s Oxford Mail Camera Club theme and snaps of rivers reflecting the sky, glass windows and mirrors were some of the entries for this week’s competition.

Stunning pictures of birds reflecting on the Oxfordshire waterways were sent in.

Bryon Robertson perfectly captured a reflection in his snap of two herons perched on the riverbank.

Roy Pyniger was also seeing double with his picture of two geese flying across the water and showing their mirror image below.

On a trip to Blenheim Palace Alicia James took a snap of a bright green sculpture which reflected its illuminating colours onto the water.

Another unusual photograph was sent in by Ian Marriot with his kaleidoscopic image of multiple mirrors reflecting a single object.

Steve Fisher played with reflection in his snap taken outside the Guggenheim in Bilbao, the picture reflects an image of him taking a picture.

Shez McKechnie captured the reflection of the countryside from a train window.

A great still life image of an orange in black and white was snapped by Becca Collacott.

Jim Jutton took a mesmerising and symmetrical snap of reflections in Salisbury Cathedral.

In a different take on the theme of reflection, Ian White took a beautiful picture at Hengistbury Head and Christchurch Bay and captioned it: ‘’It’s been a lovely day’’.

A similar image was captured by Erin Pratley in her snap of a silhouette of a man think by the river as trees are mirrored in the water.

Sarah Wade captured a reflection in a single droplet of water hanging off a blade of grass.

A mirror image of the old power station on Arthur Street in Oxford was snapped by Mark Guschtscha.

Gordon Craig sent in a snap of an arch of a bridge reflecting into the river water and Gary Thorpe took a picture of the lights from Weymouth Harbour.
