A man has been released under investigation after a stabbing.
Police were called to St Albans Road, Watford, just by Phoenix Lodge after reports of a stabbing last Thursday (July 16).
Officers arrived at the scene and found a man, in his 40s, with stab wounds – he was quickly taken to hospital for treatment.
Eyewitnesses spotted around 12 police cars at the scene.

The victim currently remains in hospital days after the incident, but police say he is in a stable condition.
Since the incident a man, 40, was arrested on suspicion of grevious bodily harm (GBH), but he has been released under investigation.
