OFFICERS arrested four people yesterday in Banbury who were involved in an assault and possessing a knife.
Two Thames Valley Police officers were assaulted last night.
A 22 year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were arrested for assault on emergency workers and are in custody.
The same officers stopped a vehicle on Lambs Crescent and found three large knives, one was an 18inch blade hidden in the car.

A 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon.
They also stopped another vehicle, this time on Ermont Way.
This driver became obstructive and was searched along with the car. A knife was located and the vehicle was also seized for no insurance.
The officers were also involved in a fail to stop last night in the town.
They followed a vehicle to Deacon Way and the man driving the car got out and ran. He was quickly apprehended and the vehicle was seized for no insurance.
