A murder investigation was launched last month, while a Home Office post-mortem examination concluded that a man died as a result of a head injury at Redbridge Hollow.

The body of a 33-year-old man, named online as Anthony Joyce, was discovered just after 11.50am on Saturday, June 27.

Mr Joyce's wife Margaret wrote on Facebook a tribute to her partner.

She said: "God, my lovely husband Anthony, my old heart is broken.

"I will never forget you I promise you, I have a pain that will never go away but I will get justice for you.

"It is just terrible – Anthony was harmless, he did not deserve that."

John Francis Joyce, aged 30, of Redbridge Hollow in Oxford, was charged with murder and appeared before Oxford Magistrates’ Court today on July 1.

Speaking after the investigation was launched, senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Bosley said police would leave 'no stone unturned' in finding out what happened.
