A WOMAN was grabbed by the neck from behind during a dramatic daytime robbery in Bicester.
The woman, who is in her twenties, was walking along Town Walk East at around 6.30pm on Wednesday when it happened.
He tried to take her phone from her but she fought him off and he ran away from the scene. She was left with marks on her neck but nothing was stolen and she didn't need to go to hospital.

He is described as around 5ft 5ins tall, slim, olive skin and black hair. At the time he was wearing a zipped tracksuit top and trousers.
Investigating officer Harmohinder Padam, based at Banbury police station said: “I am appealing for any witnesses of this incident, or anyone who believes they saw a man matching the description in the area at the time to please get in touch."
