A HEADMASTER had his lockdown locks snipped and shaved away by his daughters in front an enthusiastic Year 6 audience.
Alastair Thomas, head at The Manor Preparatory School in Abingdon, braved the makeshift barber’s chair on the school front lawn.
The haircut was all in aid of charity after Year 6 pupils pitched a number of good causes during a remote assembly.

The Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary won the pupil vote, and so far, over £1,600 has been raised.
After Milly, 13, and Martha, eight, had finished with their dad’s hair, Mr Thomas said: “This year instead of the school fete,we had to think outside the box.
“I’m really proud of the children for their charitable efforts and although it is not an experience I would necessarily wish to repeat, hopefully we have managed to raise a helpful amount of money for a very worthwhile local charity.”
