BRACKNELL has been known to grace the big screen every now and then providing itself as a beautiful backdrop for film and TV.

Most recently film crews have been spotted across the town - pre pandemic - filming the likes of Disney's Cruella, or ITV's drama Unforgotten returned in recent months to the town centre.

4. Winnersh school to build air dome and 3G pitch for students

A SCHOOL in Winnersh has been given the go-ahead to construct a brand new Air Dome and 3G pitch for students.

The Forest School, Robinhood Lane, Winnersh, made the announcement last week, following three years of planning and support from the school, Wokingham Borough Council, Sport England, and the Department of Education.

5. Thames Valley Police support international operation to tackle serious and organised crime

Bracknell News:

MORE than £300,000 in cash, multiple kilos of class A and B drugs and numerous mobile phones have been seized by Thames Valley Police during a major operation over the last three months.

The major police probe has been described as one of the 'the biggest operation of its kind' in the UK, as TVP has been working alongside other forces in the region as part of Operation Ventic, which has been aiming to tackle serious and organised crime.
