The cavernous warehouse in Adderbury covers 30,000 sq ft and Matthew Wheeler, who is one of the managers, said he was delighted that lots of customers returned last month following lockdown.

He added: “It’s a very large warehouse so we haven’t had any problems putting in place the necessary social distancing measures to keep everyone.

“We have introduced a one-way system and there are handwashing facilities - it’s such a large space that’s it’s very safe even with lots of footfall.

“We’ve had a very positive response to us reopening - I think people are excited to get out and about and visit us to see what we have on show.”

All of the products are brand new and available to take away immediately after being bought or the company can arrange delivery.

It also offers 0 per cent finance to help cover the cost of larger purchases.

All three of its warehouses are usually open to the public seven days a week.

Mr Wheeler added that during the coronavirus lockdown the company has created a Secret Deals page on its website.

He added: “It’s an online shopping channel for registered members. They get a chance to see the best deals ahead of everyone else.

During the past 17 years Trade Secret has built up trusted relationships with many high profile, well-known high street stores.

Part of its contractual agreement with these brands is that it cannot openly advertise their names or products on its website.

What the firm has agreed with some stores is that it can display and sell its product online exclusively to its registered members only.

Customers can sign up via the website, or visit one of the warehouses to discover good deals on branded furniture and accessories.
