Oxford has been ranked the fourth healthiest UK high street because it has the most libraries.
Mortgages company Bankrate looked at the amenities surrounding major UK high streets and awarded each city a score for healthy life choices, mental wellbeing and social interaction.

York was ranked the healthiest city for its vegan-friendly restaurants and Gateshead the most unhealthy.
However, it may be Oxford's 100 libraries that gave the city a good score for its mental wellbeing.
