A POPULAR craft brewery in Oxford has finally reopened – this time as a pop-up coffee bar.
Tap Social announced its initial approach to reopening its two sites after months of uncertainty.
The taproom at Curtis Industrial Estate in Botley re-launched as a weekend off-licence selling cans, pints and growler refills, while the company's second site – the White House pub on Abingdon Road – is serving coffee, baked goods, wine and beer from a cart outside.
While exact details are still being worked out for the full reopening, director Paul Humpherson confirmed that from July 4 punters will be able to enjoy a drink and socialise at the two venues.
However, he added this could be with the emphasis 'mainly on outdoor seating'.

Tap Social were forced to shut its sites at the beginning of the coronavirus lockdown and instead, the brewery lanched home deliveries for thirsty punters.
Mr Humpherson said: "We were able to sell off our existing bottle stock through a short period of home delivery service, but we then took the heartbreaking decision to close down our brewing operation altogether for a couple of months."
The Tap Social director, however, revealed he is 'delighted' to say the team has now re-commenced brewing.
The social enterprise, which works with ex-offenders to help them back into work and reduce reoffending, placed all of its staff on the furlough scheme during the crisis to avoid making redundancies.
