AN OXFORDSHIRE hospice welcomed a royal boost on Monday as Duchesses take part in special video call.
To mark Children's Hospice Week the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge organised a call with three of their patronages including Helen & Douglas House.
The Duchess of Cornwall has been a patron of Helen & Douglas House since 2007.

Children from the hospice visited Clarence House in December and took part in festivities including decorating the Christmas tree and meeting reindeers in the garden.
During the call, their Royal Highnesses discussed the vital care that hospice staff provide, and the way that children’s hospices are able to create positive environments and happy memories during the most difficult of times.
Children’s hospices have been supporting children and families during the coronavirus pandemic and Clare Periton, chief executive of Helen & Douglas House, said their doctors and nurses had never done as many home visits in the past.
