A MAN was attacked when he tried to stop a group of thugs stealing power tools from the back of a van.
Now police are trying to find this man, pictured, so they can piece together what happened on Monday afternoon.

They say that between 12pm and 12.30pm a group of robbers were on Park Road breaking into a van.
A 58-year-old man tried to stop them from leaving in another car but was left with a hand injury.

Investigating officer PC Alex Norrish based at Abingdon police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has information that could assist with this investigation to get in touch.
“I believe the man in these images may have vital information that could help.
“If you recognise this man or believe it could be you, please come forward."
