RESIDENTS have reacted angrily to incidents of littering over the weekend.
With lockdown restrictions continuing to ease, there was an increase in littering in a number of beauty spots in Witney.
Resident Margaret Stewardson was disgusted when she found glass bottles, plastic containers, carrier bags and two single-use disposable barbecues.
She said: "It's absolutely disgusting, it really makes me cross.
"Why can't people just clean up after themselves, why do they have to spoil it for the rest of us?"

Mrs Stewardson contacted district councillor Andrew Coles about the incident.
He said: "It's really disappointing, thoughtlessly discarded litter not only spoils our beautiful town but it can be extremely harmful to our local wildlife.
"Disposable barbecues are especially dangerous as they are a fire hazard.
"Dropping litter is illegal, perpetrators can be issued with a fixed penalty notice or face prosecution in court."
Littering has been spotted at Deer Park Wood and West Witney Sports Ground.
