TWO people had to be rescued from a car following a 'serious road traffic collision' on the M40.
Firefighters from Kidlington and Bicester were called to the scene between junctions 9 and 8A yesterday.
It happened shortly after 3pm and fire crews had to use a rescue platform to bridge a ditch while on the scene.

Working with teams from the Thames Valley Air Ambulance, South Central Ambulance Service and Thames Valley Police two people were brought out of one of the vehicles to safety.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were brought out 'with injuries' but did not specify what type.
