AN Oxford fishmonger caught a massive fish which he displayed at his shop in August 2006.
Geraint Jones, shop manager of Hayman's Fisheries in the Covered Market, caught the sun fish near the Faroe Islands.
This was unusual because this type of fish usually prefers warmer waters.

It weighed 75lbs – more than five stone – and the species is named sun fish due to their habit of floating on the surface and 'sunbathing'.
Hayman's Fisheries closed its stall at the Covered Market in November 2017.
Pershore Seafoods opened up last year at the site and is the first fishmongers in the market since Hayman’s closed.
Maciej Lach, who used to work at Hayman's, is now the store manager at Pershore.
