A MAN arrested during a dramatic raid on a quiet residential street has now been released on bail.

The 21-year-old was stopped in his tracks by undercover officers armed with Tasers and guns, who had driven more than 100 miles from Derbyshire to unleash the raids.

The officers were on the hunt for a gunman who allegedly shot a weapon when two groups of men had a stand off in Derbyshire on May 12.

At the time they were seen fleeing from the scene at speed in separate cars as police officers raced to the area.
