A RETIRED police officer who 'acted inappropriately' for more than10 years towards four younger female colleagues would have been fired if he was still in the job, a misconduct hearing heard.
PC Alan Nisbet, who retired on November 2 last year, treated the four women with a 'lack of respect and courtesy' from 2008 to 2019.

At a misconduct hearing on Thursday it was decided that PC Nisbet, who was last based in Milton Keynes, was guilty of gross misconduct.
Thames Valley Police heads decided that if he had still be serving he would have been dismissed but instead his name will just be placed on the barred list and he will be banned from applying to jobs in policing again.
